​Cabbage rolls

​Cabbage rolls

Ingredients

1 head of cabbage

1 package of ground beef

1 package of ground Port

1/2 yellow onion grated finally

Seasoning salt to taste

1 close of garlic minced

3 cups of sticky rice cooked

Sauce

4 tablespoons fo brown sugar

2 Tablespoons of vinegar

1 Large can of tomato sauce


Directions

Core your cabbage and blanch it in boiling water. Remove leaves and cut out the centre “vein” of each cabbage leaf.

Combine ground beef, port, graded onion, seasoning salt, pepper, garlic and rice

Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of above mixture to a leaf of cabbage and roll like a burrito. Place in ungreased casserole dish

Combine brown sugar, vinegar and tomato sauce. Pour over cabbage rolls.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until cooked.
